One of the most important tasks of Business Center North Savo is to promote the commercialization of innovations in various ways. One of the most important success factors in commercialization is the speed of the commercialization process. Thus, the development of areas that improve the speed of the process is also important.
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protect, manage and commercialize of the results of development work. These rights can both prohibit and authorize the commercial exploitation of the results.
The commercialization process includes intellectual property rights (IPR) and their professional management. One concrete measure, especially related to research and knowledge-based innovations, is to strengthen the identification, protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights and inventions arising in these organizations.
